Medical Plan

PM&A offers comprehensive medical coverage.  This is a preferred provider organization (PPO) where you receive a higher benefit for using a PPO provider.  Two options are available for the plan.  The base plan is provided by the PMA and the advanced plan is more coverage with the premium difference paid by the employee.

Dental Plan

Dental coverage is open preferred provider plan available for any licensed dentist.  If you elect to see a participating plan dentist, they are obligated to accept what the plan pays.  If you choose a non-participating plan dentist you pay the difference between what the plan covers and what the dentist charges.

Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment/Long Term Disability Insurance

A life/Accidental Death policy is carried by PM&A for each employee. The plan presently applies for a two times base salary life insurance benefit with a $150,000 cap.

401K Plan

PM&A has a 401K plan that is presently administered by a professional plan administrator and managed by a third party administrator. Matching contributions are currently made to the plan.

Workers' Compensation Insurance

All employees of the corporation are covered, including engineers, principals and all professional staff.

Medical Savings Plan

PM&A provides an IRS Section 125, Employee Deferred Income Flexible Spending Plan, which allows employees to "set aside" a portion of their income "tax free".

Stock Option Plan

Full time direct employees of Parker, Messana & Associates will accumulate options on shares of stock based on years of service with the company. Employee ownership of optioned shares of stock is through a 5 year vesting schedule that requires no investment on the employee’s part. PM&A is a closely held company, and stock cannot be owned or transferred outside of the company.

Continuing Education
PM&A supports the continuing of all our staff and will reimburse employees 100% of educational expenses for the following:
Seminars
With prior approval
Undergraduate Classes
C or better grade
Graduate Classes
C or better grade
Continuing Education requirements to maintain professional registration.
Prior approval of classes and applicability of job related subjects are required.
