Parker, Messana & Associates has the capability to model small to large structures for wind, earthquake and altered gravity loads.  Modeling existing structures allows owners of these buildings to determining where the supports need to be modified to handle new process equipment.  We utilize the RISA-3D© structural analysis and modeling software which is the latest in software technology to assist our structural engineers in doing these complex calculations.  This showcase project provided detailed analysis of over 1400 structural steel framing members and 1700 concrete floor elements.  Imagine if you had to do these calculations by hand as they were originally done when this fourteen story building was designed thirty years ago!
